Beat The Scene : HELLO,IS THIS THE BAND?
It was last year when word of a spunky pop-punk band rising from the trenches of the gigging scene caught my attention. So here the interview that we make with Fahmy their lead guitar :
Joe: Describe the band in four words.
"Hello, is this the band". oh no, its five words. oh how about "pop punk rock band"
That's cool.
Joe: Who are some of your bigger musical influences?
I like the 90s sound band, like U2, Train, Matchbox 20, Third Eye Blind, 90s was the best decade of musics coming out from band. I also love punk rock bands like Sum41 and Blink 182, New Found Glory, Boys Like Girls, Paramore, Hey Monday.
Joe: Are there any dates that stand out to you so far?
If dates means our show dates, I still can't forget our show in February 09 in Penang where we played in jam packed venue. It was so hot more than any shows i've ever been! probably because Bunkface was playing too.
But that was a great show!
Joe: What are some of your favorite songs to play live?
Our own songs like Letting You Go, Sweet Mistake, Paramore's Pressure, and That's What You Get.
Joe: If you could change anything about the music industry what would you change?
I'll change everything back to the basic where music is only about music, where people will listen to records and feels good about it, and bands will play music for what they love.
Joe: What is the best advice you can give someone trying to become a successful band?
Get big or die trying, never quits! stay as a band as long as far as you can
Joe: Do you have any memorable fan experiences?
Ahah! Not really, but how about played in front of 3000+ people, first time we performed! Even though we're only opening, but it was quite an experience!
Joe: Do you have any hidden talents or something about yourself people may not expect?
Hidden talent? like i can read people's mind? naahh i don't. Something about me is I don't really like crowds! Ahah, I like to stay home and sit in front of my TV, especially on weekend!
Joe: Any last words for everyone?
Yes! thanks again to you Joe for this interview, thanks to everyone that has been at our shows, listen to our musics, and buy our stuffs, tell friends about us.
Stay cool, be safe!

Goodbye & Godspeed you, Love As Arson.
Hello guys, it's been 2 years since Love As Arson joined Gegey Music Family, and now they are officially left our label starting September 2009. They've decided not to continue their contract with us and wanna fly freely up in the sky.
They will be releasing their latest album, "The Hangover" anytime soon now. We hope that the album will be one more successful album and will boost them to their ambitions.
Even though they're not with us anymore, we will still be selling their materials as we still have a few more unfinished deals with them.
Loads of love from Gegey Music. Have an awesome journey ahead. We had fun with you guys and we hope you guys felt the same way. And always remind yourself that we love you, Love As Arson. We really do. Cheers.

No, this is not one of them hard-working lads. *__*
Hello guys. Here's another update from the red-blue-black studio. The new recording studio is in the 5th phase now; installing the cloth-frame wall layer. As you guys can see in the photo, the wall will be filled with blue-colored cloth-frame layer. Should be nice, yes? This phase should be finished in 3-4 days from today. Next phase, the control room, laminated floor, cleaning, double layer door, installing instruments, and then, voila, it's done! (well, there's like gazillion phase more to go. haha)
Scroll down for more photos.
That's all for now, folks! This is summer_serenade signing off. Happy fasting & keep on rockin'! Cheers.
