#2 FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHERS: Baha & Barney
as i promised you guys before, here's the interview with Baha & Barney via FB (zmn da canggih)! you see, i met these people before. please don't ask how. haha it's emberassing for me! 1st time & i had enough
but these amazing duo had everything under control though for a first timer! Baha, on our first meet-up wasn't talking too much. but he smiled a lot, i swear! and oh, not to forget, Baha & Barney has a very friendly face & gestures. you won't feel awkward when you're around them. while Barney, yeah i heard he laughed & laughed. i think Baha is quiet a shy person until YOU KNOW THE REAL HIM & Barney is always an easy going person i must say? hehe.
okay okay, i'm trying to describe how these guys are because i know, many many people want to work with persons who are gentle, understanding & doesn't make you feel uncomfortable while working with them. so no worries, you have my words that these guys are too cute to harm you! HAHA. cekdisout!
Kiwi GM: price quotations for every photoshoot?
Baha & Barney: Bands> 150- 300 (unlimited hours), Weds> starting from 800, Portraiture> 100 per hour. all prices are totally negotiable
Kiwi GM: ever thought of having your own studio or a company maybe?
Baha: absolutely! i think every photographer wants their own studio
Barney: having my own studio? Hell yeah! haha
Kiwi GM: [OFF TOPIC. hehe!] your music taste?
Baha: Good Rock/ Hip Hop
Barney: Its depends on the mood actually, any music will do ,but i do listen a lot to those metal and hardcore stuff
Kiwi GM: what made you think that you're different than other photographers since this field is helllll so competetive?
Baha: our works speak for themselve.
Barney: I like to observe others, see their work or anything, im not saying that im different from others. just be yourself, and try to do the best at it.
Kiwi GM: in your opinion, photography takes up natural born talent or hard work?
Baha: both, each is essential.
Barney: IMO, photography takes up both natural born talent and hardwork.
Kiwi GM: what's your favourite concept in photography?
Baha: i don't have any specific concept, but i always shoot on dawn or dusk
Barney: I love to shoot bands as im inspired by Adam elmakias, and sometimes potraits are nice.
Kiwi GM: [OFF TOPIC] what do you think about lomography?
Baha: Fun fun fun!
Barney: Lomo's are cool.
Kiwi GM: all in all, what's your best advice for people who has deep interest (and talent!) in photography but don't have $$$ yet to buy a DSLR?
Baha: work with what you have, snap pakai compact pon lawa kalau pandai..and save up!
Barney: Advice? erm, yeah, its not the camera that makes your photos great, its your skills. Eventhough you doesnt own a camera, you can still learn a lot about photography, how to process them and other stuff. you know what, ive been learning, reading about photography for about a year now, but ive just got my first camera 6 months ago.
people know how choosy i am when it comes to creative works. so from what they had gave me of their personal bests, i chose these eye-candies for GM followers!
