Later ALL

There was a time in in 2009 when it felt like I saw Later ALL play. And then they kind of disappeared off my radar (probably had something to do with me being busy for a while, but whatevs). Anyway, these guys just came back onto my radar with this song.
I’m not going to lie: every Later ALL recording I’ve heard so far has been inferior to their live show, which isn’t surprising. They often trade on that whole ‘wall of guitar crescendo’ that will probably always work better in concert than on record for any band. ‘INFLUENCE INSPIRATION’ isn’t a departure for the band, but it does suggest a growing confidence in their lyrics/vocal abilities.
‘INFLUENCE INSPIRATION' is taken from their forthcoming debut.

Hello , Is This The Band ? New Album Tracks

Everything is better when it’s free, that’s a scientific fact. The HITTB debut was probably going to be pretty good anyway, but by the aforementioned logic my appreciation for it has been heightened by roughly 20% since you can get your dirty mouse-clicking mits on that shit for free from our website right now. Yup. we’re calling May ‘Free Album Month’ or something, which would suggest that you have 31 days (well, only 18 now) to get a-downloading – but then maybe June will also be ‘Free Album Month,’ I haven’t asked. Don’t risk it, head over to HIITB to get in on this socialist cultural exchange.
The above songs are pulled from that debut, Ticking Boxes. ‘Weird Song’ is the opening number and gives a pretty good idea of what HIITB are about for the uninitiated. A mix of sparse, brooding, and upbeat sensibilities; simple guitar playing mixed with slightly-weak-but-in-a-cool-way vocals; a big chorus that never sounds too big thanks to the understated instrumentation.
If you like these tracks then you’ll probably like everything in between too. And when all it costs is a fraction of your time and download quote, why not hit it up?
Failure Proposal

Failure Proposal have finally done with their live recording. It kicks off with ‘And I’, based around a bass hook cribbed from that little tune played by doorbells all around the world. They’re fun and have tonnes of potential, even if it is a little easy to pick their influences at this early stage of the game.
If you want a pop-risk excuse to check them out, they’re playing in the Upstart : Red Is in Attack!Attack! studio this coming Wednesday 19th May 2010 , be there!

Blooded Suicide Live in Malaysia.

Hailed as the ‘voice of a generation’, Blooded Suicide are revered by music critics and fans alike. The first time i heard Original Pirate Material, i couldn’t decide on whether the person making the music was black or white, from Indonesia or the Midlands, deadly serious or a total joker.
Blooded Suicide have made the cultural crossover from the Melodic Death Metal and pirate radio scene to the mainstream becoming equally as important to the charts as they are to the indie kids.
With a brand new Line-up, Blooded Suicide sounds feel so dark.
