Gegey Tour 2011 at SCHRANK INV STAGE
Last night I went down to the Seventh Heaven Studio for Gegey Tour 2011 : SCHRANK INV STAGE.12 bands were playing today so it was a long, fun-filled day for those that arrived early.A bunch of great local bands were on early followed but some hot aussie bands afterwards.
Symbiotic In Theory got on stage very early and without any fuss got straight into playing and there were plenty of hardcore punks up the front giving as much shit to the band as the band was giving to the crowd. The music was loud, it was fast and it seemed that it was more of an attitude that fans appreciated than the lyrics or melody but it all seemed that it made the show more interesting than just an average band playing average songs.
Another local band was on next in Hurricane and there were just as many fans up close and personal cheering them on. There were a few moments where fans shouted out and the band shouted back in a bit of an angry way but the music did speak for itself. Hurricane have played enough gigs to strengthen their live sound to almost a point of perfection.

Shinto Katana were headlining the day and definitely deserved the honour. Rocking out the grounds straight away and getting everybody present jumping around, Shinto Katana proved they were one of the best live bands in Australia. Playing a bunch of songs from their debut album Cold Streets, the band were fantastic and only went from strength to strength. It was definitely a sight to be seen and a great way to end the evening.

Beat The Scene : Structured – The Homecoming

After a couple of years of drip-feeding ,creating, develop the time has arrived for the release of Structured's single. The Homecoming is a great introduction to Structured and shows exactly why people are so excited about them.
They’re prog rockers, but also funky, and experimental. The quartet are activists of a way of life that believes culture is a means of social transformation. They expanding this idea while making people feel some catharsis with their instrumental music.

Vote Hello , Is This The Band – Open for Incubus
Hello , is this the band , New video made by them to open for Incubus.Willing to get past the grammatical mindfuck, because I’m convinced this is a pretty awesome tune.
This is a sandwich I would like to be in.
Beat The Scene : Law

Stopgap by Law is an in exercise super sweet ambience, heavy reverb (as well as a tasteful dash of autotune). Law new to the scene but already producing reliably listenable music. Some of the best up-and-coming chillwave in Malaysia.

Daarchlea 2011

Since the new drummer march forward , Daarchlea have been working hard at the gig rounds and recording their new single.
This is dark stuff by their sounds, Daarchlea make you feel that a tragedy had to happen and it becomes a beautiful experience.
Daarchlea currently working on an Single, so keep an ear to the ground – or just the computer screen, if you want to keep your ears clean.
For Better Endings

For Better Endings are back with one new member, a slight tweak to their sound and have ditched the gold bodysuits for some hardcore seriousness here. While the new stuff is a bit more toned up, it’s hard to expect anything too sensible from these guys.
