Hello. Sorry I've been neglecting this site lately due to personal and work matter. I'd like to make it up by posting Starstruck again. This month we have the 2nd vocalist of An Honest Mistake, a band from Kuala Lumpur. Ever heard of them? They're a pop-punk/easycore band and they're pretty awesome.
There's no harm getting to know the 2nd vocalist before checking the band out, right? Let's hear it for Sheryl!
Q: Tell us your full name, nickname and position in the band.
A: My full name is Sheryl Goh Shuehui, to most I’m just Sheryl, and I’m the co-vocalist in the band.
Q: What do you do for living?
A: I live off my parents! I’m still studying 
Q: Please state 5 songs that you've been listening to lately.
A: Auburn – All About Him, Jayme Dee – Love Whiplash, A Day To Remember – If It Means A Lot To You, Colbie Caillat – I Do!, Jessie J – Price Tag
Q: When did you form your band? What inspired you to make music together?
A: The band has been around for about 3 – 4 years, though I only joined a year ago.
Q: What genre of music do you consider your work to be? Who are your major influences?
A: We’re something of pop punk, or Easycore, if you prefer to call it that!
Q: What are your rehearsals generally like? Do you have a set time each week in which you practice or are rehearsals more spontaneous?
A: Currently, we have regular weekly practice sessions during the weekend.
Q: What's your favorite place to go eat together? (with your bandmates)
A: You’ll find us mostly at hawker stalls nearby wherever we’re jamming or gigging at the time!
Q: Which show that you've played has been your favorite so far?
A: My personal favourite would be our most recent show, the Radio Demokratika launch @ Pekan Frinjan at Dataran Shah Alam on the 5th of March. Nothing beats a responsive crowd! That’s what entertainment really is about.
Q: Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Geoff Rickly or Ashton Kutcher?
A: If I HAD to pick – Johnny Depp.
Q: What's your LEAST favorite part of being in a band?
A: Saturday morning practice! I tend to oversleep.
Q: What was the first record you bought?
A: Ryan Cabrera’s Take It All Away
Q: Name the last gig you went with your buddies.
A: The last gig we played; the Radio Demokratika launch.

ATTACK OF THE INDIE KIDS 2011 FINAL LINEUP ANNOUNCED
Attack Of The Indie Kids shifts into high gear for 2011 and screams into the lead from the slipstream with its raciest line-up to date but without losing its focus on a great value ticket price and being held at new venue , Rebana Hotel in Kota Bharu.
The line up this year is a corker - a heady mix of east coast and weat coast, new and established, great and awesome bands. Without further ado, here it is!

THE EIGHTYFOUR
Kuala Lumpur post-hardcore The Eightyfour have delivered a new tune for our listening pleasure, Fools Gold, a swinging and memorable tune, now featuring 20% more guitar solo! These guys are building their arsenal for an Album release in time soon, and from what they’ve been playing at shows lately, it promises to be an excellent release no doubt.
Apparently The Eightyfour is aiming for a different sound with this album, which is evidenced by the track that is available for preview in their facebook. I say their music is glistening, shimmering and totally addictive.
I love this band, so I am really looking forward to this album.

Hello , is this the band ?
This is pretty exciting news! Not only do Hello , is this the band? have a new album coming out in March, but they are getting exposed for the MHI show on TV3 this morning.
Previously I mentioned the exciting fact of a new album coming soon by Hello , is this the band ?.Now, we have the first taste. And it tastes good!
The Starting Line was full of boundless energy and melodic golden moments, so I am super excited to hear their new release.

Ladies and gentlemen, Attack Of The Indie Kids has been brought forward from the 16th of April to the 9th of April 2011.
However, AZUREFORJANNE can't make it for Attack Of The Indie Kids this time due to some prior commitments , but they promise to come and play for the next show.
And headlining in 2011 will be the one and only Subculture!! True to it’s name Attack Of The Indie Kids is a wild ride this year with plenty of dance floor action and fun acts through the day as it rolls into a glorious high energy rock and roll love-in to close out the big day.
Still to come – all the fun and madness you’ve come to enjoy and all the weird and wonderful craziness to be found in the Attack Of The Indie Kids 2011 this year.

Attack Of The Indie Kids 2011 Announced
The wait is over. The line-up for the Attack Of The Indie Kids has been announced. Bands for the April 16th event so far include Oh Chentaku, Hello,Is This The Band? , Mad Monster's Attack, AZUREFORJANNE, Givenpath , and Horryfied with more bands to come.There will also be a local flavour to each event, with more acts to be confirmed ASAP.Tickets are only $20 and will be available from March 20th.
